* FOX News Jake Gibson brings us the following report and it starts off like this... It took awhile, but Newt Gingrich is officially a candidate for the presidency in 2012. The former House speaker made the announcement via Twitter and Facebook Wednesday... "I'm Newt Gingrich, and I'm announcing my candidacy for president of the United States because I believe we can return America to hope and opportunity, to full employment and to real security," Gingrich said in a web video... In the two minute video, Gingrich spoke to the camera on a simple gray background and talked about his time as House speaker and his vision for an America with less focus on Washington...

If I was wanting to learn more USofA history.....there is no one, and I mean no one I would rather have as lecturer, teacher or talk about it friend....than Mr. Gingrich.....but he would be a disaster as president....I WANT NO APOLIGISTS FOR MY PRESIDENT....I WANT SARAH PALIN.

Like I told Rich in comments in my other blog... I too am starting to wonder about Newt myself.
I really do like him, but... He has change all so much and has done so just in the last few years. And besides...his mouth is starting to outrun his brain... and a little tooooo much so for my liking.
I'm sticking with Newt for now, but if something doesn't change and soon... I'm going to have to bail on him.
With that said... How did you like the Rick Perry Speech in the post above this one? I for one REALLY liked it!!! And will be keeping an eye on the man too...
